Practical rain coat

I haven’t had the chance to try it out yet. I purchased it as it is long , so many raincoats finish at the knee. It’s lightweight so can be worn in summer with enough room to get a fleece on underneath for cold weather. My only negative is on the delivery time.

TAPED SEAMS

This is a method used to make materials waterproof by putting a waterproof tape or liquid sealant along the seams (usually on the inside so it can't be seen).

WATERPROOF

Resists water droplets from passing through. Water resistance is measured by the amount of water, in mm, which can be suspended above the fabrics before water passes.

WINDPROOF

"Windproof" fabric doesn't let the wind come through. It is very useful to keep you warm. Fabrics are made windproof by membrane or by weaving them very tightly.

waterproof test

We are pretty obsessed with staying dry. As well as using our coats all year round, in all weather conditions, we test them in a variety of ways - including a fairly intense hosepipe test. Even after a full five minutes of hosing the coats remain completely dry inside.
