A beautifully made lightweight full-length, fully-waterproof raincoat, with high-quality features throughout, the Hepworth is ideal for staying dry whilst on the move, travelling light. The coat has a mesh-lined top half for your comfort and, to retain the lightweight experience, no padding has been added. Two zipped exterior pockets and two inner pockets are excellent features. A high neck and drawstring hood provide additional protection from the elements and the coat opens at the rear if required for a more A-Line shape or for riding. Just grab from the coat hook and go.

LIGHTWEIGHT COAT

I am so happy that I found this coat online. After spending a few days in Northumberland last month and getting absolutely drenched in my supposedly waterproof jacket, I decided that I needed a full length, lightweight coat for our very changeable summer weather. This coat ticks all the boxes of quality, style and most importantly, does the job for which it is intended, ie keeping you dry! It’s an excellent purchase from a brilliant company.

Great value

Excellent value as brought when on offer. Exactly what I was looking for to replace my very old long dog walking coat.
Lovely & long so goes over the boots. Poppers on the cuffs rather than Velcro which I much prefer. Not thick lining so great for all seasons with enough room to add a fleece under if needed. Zipped side pockets. Hood fits great with adjustable togs on the side.
All in all very happy with my purchase & excellent value for money.

TAPED SEAMS

This is a method used to make materials waterproof by putting a waterproof tape or liquid sealant along the seams (usually on the inside so it can't be seen).

WATERPROOF

Resists water droplets from passing through. Water resistance is measured by the amount of water, in mm, which can be suspended above the fabrics before water passes.

WINDPROOF

"Windproof" fabric doesn't let the wind come through. It is very useful to keep you warm. Fabrics are made windproof by membrane or by weaving them very tightly.

BREATHABLE

Allows body heat and perspiration to pass through. Breathability is measured by the rate at which water vapour passes through, in units of grams of water vapour.

We are pretty obsessed with staying dry. As well as using our coats all year round, in all weather conditions, we test them in a variety of ways - including a fairly intense hosepipe test. Even after a full five minutes of hosing the coats remain completely dry inside.
