Longcoats Breathable 'Newlyn' Men's Long Raincoat with Hood

Walk tall and stay warm and dry, from head to toe, whilst those who are not so prepared succumb to the elements. The Newlyn is a tough, breathable, four season medium-weight fully waterproof long-coat with no compromise made when it comes to material or design. Medium-weight materials mean the coat not opening up or flying around in the wind. Full length means over wellingtons or longer boots - no more waterproof trousers. Just grab from the coat rack and go. Detachable hood and multiple pockets as standard.  The flagship of the Longcoats range for those who insist on the very best.

MATERIAL: "Feels like smooth cotton/canvas". The outer fabric is a textured Dobby weave in 85% polyester 15% polyamide, with a waterproof PU laminate backing. Faux moleskin-lined collar and cuffs.

WARMTH: The Newlyn is medium-weight ensuring you do not overheat during milder conditions and means the bottom half of the coat does not blow open in the wind.. Fully lined - not quilted or padded.

LAYERING: You will likely need to layer up for winter weather or you can purchase an optional zip-in fleece.

BREATHABILITY: 3.000 gr/m².

WATERPROOF RATING: 8,000mm hydrostatic pressure test.

LENGTH: Full, over the boot.

HOOD: Yes, with drawstring. Detachable via press studs. Also adjustable via strap and velcro on hood top.

CUFFS: Edged with faux-moleskin and adjustable via two press studs.

SEAMS: Taped.

MAIN ZIPS: One "chunky" zip (we like) for closing against the weather (protected by a material flap) and a second, smaller zip, for adding an optional fleece or gilet. The main zip ends approx. 64cm from the hem.

POCKETS: Outer pockets have covering flaps and press studs to keep contents dry and secure. Inside the coat there is a separate mesh pocket and a zipped pocket (15x15cm) - handy for your phone or keys.

PRESS STUDS: Strong studs, spaced 16cm apart, that continue the length of the coat until about 24cm from the hem.

RETURNS

Unused returned as new: Any product can be returned if undamaged and unworn (aside from trying on) for a period of 40 days of purchase for exchange or refund (60 days if purchased in November or December). 

Used and worn: Coats can be returned for an exchange or refund if returned and found to be not waterproof (we will test it thoroughly) within 40 days of purchase (60 days if purchased in November or December).

COATS: In general it is best to brush the dirt off rather than washing. The less that coats are washed the longer they will last. The care label can be found on the garment. NO fabric softener or tumble drying as they can dissolve the taping and dry out the laminations which can lead to leaking. 

Tweed coats are dry clean only.
